MLK Day Reflection: Progress Is Built, Not Given

Smart Money Bro — Weekly Economic Brief

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day — a reminder that progress never comes from waiting, hoping, or trusting systems to change on their own.

And that ties directly into what I said this weekend.

You’re not supposed to win. That’s how the system is designed.

Most people don’t lose because they’re lazy. They lose because they’re playing the game in the wrong order — or playing a game that was never built for them to win.

One Economic Event to Watch This Week

Markets are focused on inflation direction — not headlines.

This week, pay attention to inflation data, Fed commentary, and positioning ahead of the upcoming FOMC meeting — especially how markets react, not just what’s said.

Why this matters:
• Inflation dictates interest rates
• Rates dictate pressure on households
• Pressure exposes who has margin — and who doesn’t

This is why panic is expensive.
And structure matters more than prediction.

What This Means for You

You don’t need to time this economy.
You need a system.

That’s why I released two videos this weekend:
You’re Not Supposed to Win
You’re Doing Money Backwards — WRONG ORDER

👉 Watch either one here:

You’re Not Supposed to Win

You’re Doing Money Backwards — The Right Order

One More Thing

Enrollment for my 4-Step Money Reset opens later this week.

Not to beat the market.
Not to get rich quick.
But to get out of reaction mode — and into control.

More details coming soon.
